June Joys_2014

Assalamualaikum and Good Day to all.

June is always the month that brings joy to us at Chinonets Cuppies.

School break.
Birthdays.
Engagements.
Weddings.
More time with kids.
More cakes to be baked.
*cheeky face*

We weren't able to post any updates, so, here are the pictures

of our recent projects especially this year's June.

**********************************************

First and foremost, June was special this year (and every year) because it was (as it alsways is) our first son's birth month.

This year we baked him a simple vanilla sponge cake which was decorated with fresh lemony cream and topped with fresh raspberries

As his other birthdays, this year it was during the school holiday too.
Irfan and his younger brother had been sent earlier that week to their grandmother's house in Damansara to help her with her daily chores.

We didn't tell him that we were coming, and it was a day earlier that we came, so he was quite surprised to see us coming to the house with the cake.

Oh, how we loooove giving surprises to our kids. Aaaand to our customers as well.

Berrylicious, indeed.

Then, we were involved with the ex-BENL (Batch 1994-1999) sisters'
mini gathering at Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi.

This Berrylicious was ordered by Dr Zulida and
was served to those who were present during the mini gathering.

It was a very tasty butter cake decked with lemony fresh cream and fresh strawberries

There were a lot of oooohhhsss and aaaaaaahhhsss when they indulged themselves with a slice or two of this cake.
(You know you shouldn't be bias, but this one is really not! :))

It was just (again) BERRYLICIOUS!!!

Cream cheese chocolate marbled brownies.
Yeah, the name is pretty loooooooong to be used, but then again,
WHY NOT?

It is really suitable for the
super delicious, super creamy and super cheesy brownies.

This was ordered by Jun for both her daughter and herself.

Happy Birthday to both of you, dears! :)

Kak Ani was Dokte's colleague when
he was working at a school canteen a few years ago.

When we got to know that Kak Ani's daughter was getting married,
we suggested something special for Ena's wedding day,
a 3-tier chocolate fondant cake.

Although this was our very first 3-tier chocolate fondant cake,
we tried very hard to ensure that the cake tasted good
and looked good too.

Alhamdulillah, we received very good responses from Kak Ani and her daughter.

We pray that both Ena and Shah (and every one in Kak Ani's family)
be blessed with more rizqi and barokah
in this life and in the hereafter. Ameen.

Thank you. :)

Half-recipe Red Velvet Cake for Suzie.
(Actually it was an extra piece that was left after preparing a wedding cake.

It was so happen that Suzie was going out to visit relatives so it seemed that it was a great 'buah tangan' for her to bring to the relatives' house.

Apam polka dots for Zura's son's birthday.
These cute goodies were put in bags and distributed to all her son's friends in his class.

This was our very first Fondant Lego cake.
It was fun baking and decorating it.

It reminded us of
our own Lego sets eons ago.
:)

So, we hope Ishak, Zura and all her family members enjoyed the cake.

Mr. Iqbal was lucky because all her daughters' birthdays are in June! So he could save A LOT in just having to order ONE cake for all his daughters.

And we are glad he chose us to be the 'official baker' for his family.
(We are soooo touched by his response.)
THANK YOU. :)

This year's Father and Mother's Days were celebrated in style by Hadi and his family members.

He ordered a 'tall' RV for his dad, mom, siblings.

Thanks, Hadi.

One of our nephews celebrated his 4th birthday.

His mom ordered Chilled Oreo Cheesecake which we think as the cheesiest cake we have prepared so far.

We baked some butterscotch cupcakes
for him too.

Have a blast, Hizbur! :)

These cute brown velvets
were served to the Rector of KUIS, Bdr Seri Putra, Bangi in one of the informal meetings he attended at the Foundation Centre of KUIS.

We are sooooo pleased that he liked them.
Thank You, Dato'! :)

**********************************************

When your little customer demanded for his birthday cake to be brown, you baked him Brown Velvet cake and cupcakes!

We hope you enjoyed these, Nashwan Nasr! :)

The Red Velvet cake which was fully decorated in cream cheese and gumpaste flowers had made its journey 150km away from Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi to Air Hitam, Muar, Johor.

We were not at ease, until the person who ordered it stated that the cake had safely reached the destination. Pheeewwwww!!!

Thanks, Anne for the trust.
And, congratulations to Ajeeb and her husband, Hanis.

We felt so honoured to be trusted in baking these two engagement cakes.

These were also among our first attempts at preparing fondant decorated cakes.

We are glad that we took the 'challenge' and now we are confident to try preparing more of this kind of cake.

As the Chinese proverb states:
one step at a time is good walking.

So, we would like to thank Ziana for trusting us in these two cakes, one for Hakimi and anonther for Fatin.

Both are chocolate cakes.

The following is Hanim's Red Velvet cake which she wanted to surprise her husband with.

It was for the Father's Day celebration and she requested for a light blue-coloured cream cheese decoration.

Thanks, dear!

So, basically, we enjoyed this year's June.
We definitely are looking forward to more joyous months ahead.

For the time being, since it is already July and the fasting month of Ramadhan, our production line is still on, we still have our regular/new customers ordering, but we will only be able to update a little lesser than before because of our focus is more on fulfilling our responsibilities as Muslims first, insyaAlah.

We will meet again.
Maybe sooner than you thought.

If you are happy with our latest update, alhamdulillah. If you have enquiries/orders to make, please send your e-mail(s) to chinonetscuppies@gmail.com. or 'like' us on Facebook.

Have a blessed fasting month to all Muslims and have a good day to all.

Assalamualaikum! :)
